'Fraid to say, (and I take it we are talking about a digital (computer file) image here) unless the file is saved as a 'layered image' (which jpeg, bmp, png and most others are NOT) you simply can not do what you want - the information of what is under the scribble is simply lost.

that was a distortion, the pixels were moved, and could be moved back using the same program (but in the opposite direction) in this case, the pixels have been deleted, and there is no way to retrieve them.Noobpatty wrote:
