ok?  So what does that have to do with people bitching about their infrastructure, yet giving a free pass to the people actually destroying it and impeding progress?

the question is, why would so many "freedom fighters" attack from areas of high population, sometimes next to schools or hospitals and especiialy in or around mosques, when they know there will be a counter attack?  A counter attack that will make it nearly impossible to avoid the deaths of non combatants in a lot of cases.  Or, further angering the population by going in a mosque or raiding city blocks.  If the attacks would not occur, we wouldnt be patrolling or cordoning or raiding.
