AB. part #23: If you are a pilot check the radar screen before unloading bombs on a juicy looking enemy flag. If you can check it for red dots you can see your teammate's dots as well.
- Please remember that although it is a game, you will still die if hit by an oncoming vehicle. So make sure you do not run out infront of a friendly Tank or APC as sometimes it is hard for the driver to see everyone who is around him/her.
- Medic's please learn how to use your kit properly. Remember that you can revive fallen team mates.
- Medic's and Support Kit's, be aware when you hear a team mate asking for a medic or ammo. Sometimes the person might be standing right next to you. It is not nice to be ignored.
- Please dont use letter when listing items because eventually you will get to Z and run out!!! :-)

I don't know about that... you're saving the team a ticket and thus trying to be a team player.F.Rabshaw wrote:

Don't pick up my kit if I'm a medic to revive me. I don't want your crappy kit. I'd rather wait 15 seconds than have a random person pick the kit I play with.
or better, only pick up some dead medics kit if theres another kit lying near by ... so after reving i will pick it up and the medic can have his noob kit back.F.Rabshaw wrote:

AMEN... This is called Teamwork... so what if you get a kit you don't want for 3 seconds until you die, but in that time... I saved your ass (a ticket) and we may have killed a couple on the way out. It's just a logical thing to do.Trooper_Collider wrote:

Well, that's too bad! I personally dont give a sh...t if not everyone appreciates it; a dead soldier means one ticket down for the team. It has to be done in order to avoid losing that ticket!! That simple. In ANY and ALL cases it must be done. Not doing it just bcoz a 12-y-o kiddo doesn't like ur kit and wants to keep on earning points as a medic is selfish. Switching the kit to avoid losing a ticket is a duty! Besides, that dead person could be ur buddy, or member of ur squad. Would u let him die? I couldn't!

Don't punish people who TK you intentionally for vehicles ? Yeah right ............
Except for the fact that what you just said is against the ROE (provided it's ranked) that EA has provided. Therefore, if I ever am in a server that says "no vehicles, no commander" whatever, I'll be the first to get in a tank and kill all the helpless troops running around.megaboost wrote:
How about:
"Read the server rules while you sit patiently waiting for the game to load. If it says NO VEHICLES, NO COMMANDER, GROUND TROOPS ONLY, then take this into account - if you want to play in tanks go elsewhere. If you can't read the server rules because they are in another language then go elsewhere to ensure you don't upset people"
WTF kind of server does that?......if i come across one i wont join it!!! but fair point on the ammo request!!!! well fair point on the reading of server rules i guess lol!!megaboost wrote:

"NEED AMMO" - this means I need some ammo, it doesn't mean I want to chase you across the entire map only to have you TK me because I scared you.
DONT EXPECT SNIPERS TO RUN AROUND CAPPING FLAGS OR SLAG EM OFF COS THEY STAY IN ONE PLACE!....its what they do, if they can cap then im sure they will..remember they may have taken out a guy who was sneaking up on u or spawned while u were capping a flag!......ALWAYS (if possible) spot enemy units so we all know where they are...its a great help for the team......AND ALWAYS SHARE YOUR BEER WITH YOUR TEAM MATES PLS!!!!!!1
Here are some from me:
- If you pilot a transport chopper don't bail out of the perfectly fine machine without telling your passengers
- If you shout that you need ammo and someone replies "ok" near you, don't make him chase you all over the map with his ammo bag in hand (same goes for "I need a medic!" )

If someone is driving a tank as engineer, and you're his gunner...... if he stops in a quiet corner to use his wrench.... DO NOT STEAL THE TANK!!!!!!!!
Chances are you're driver is just going to get angry and TK you with his mines.... then TK you again when you're waiting for the tank to respawn.
If theres a threat you can't handle with your machinegun.... you just have to use the "get in" command. Theres never any excuse for tank stealing.

My input.
This may be a little redundant, but still cannot be over emphasized:
Spawning at a main base, running behind a vehicle with only a driver in it and yelling "requesting pick up!!" all the way back to the battle. grrrrr!!!
Throwing a grenade at a cluster of enemies and watching as a teammate or 2 run over to where my grenade is laying and blowing up. Then THEY punish me !!!
Jumping into any vehicle and hearing "Get out!! Bail out!!!" over and over because he wants his buddy to get in. This screws me up because there are times when a Spec Ops has C4'ed the sh*t out of the vehicle and is trying to warn me he is about to detonate.
Joining a squad and having the whole squad leave and making another squad. Suddenly I am a squad leader? Jeez....do I smell?? Is that more polite than kicking me off the squad??
Grabbing a Hummer and positioning myself in just the right place to get 8 or 9 kills and switching into the turret, then having some one jump in and drive me into an arty barrage or a tank and instant death.
Spawn campers .....well...unless it is me :-)

E. Don't whore a vehicle or the commander spot for more than a round or two, it's just not
polite.
The person with the highest rank has the right to apply for Commander as much times as he wants. That's the rule. Plain and simple. Wanna command? Apply, but if u dont get the job is bcoz probably a more qualified player got it. That's the privilege of the rank. Not polite? For Xrist sake! This is not a Debutants Ball!! Or what? r u waiting for a special invitation to be the commander?. There is something called Chain of command, and all of us have to respect it. Dont want ur commander? Mutiny! If everybody thinks the same way he'll be kicked out!

The first point is not valid, in my opinion.
It really sucks when someone is commander for 10 rounds straight, other people need/want commander points, if you want commander that bad, go to a different server.
If they have a high rank, they should have no problem.
I agree with your second point however.

Don't call someone a N00B if they are a higher rank than you, It just doesn't make sense.
Or better yet don't name call at all, but if you must call someone a N00B, if someone pisses you off that much it's very simple..... you have a gun..... use it, and if they are so good that you can't get even .... with your gun....... then maybe you should re assess
who the N00B is.

Don't grab someone's FAV when they are in the gunner seat trying to gun sumthing down
Don't punish teammates if you were stupid enough to run into their mines/claymores/hand grenades. Some servers still have friendly fire for these switched on. There's a big RED warning light- if you can't see it hit ALT.
Don't sit behind spawn points and shoot people in the back before they can move. It's just not cricket old chap.
*shrug* I don't write the rules or run a server - all I know is that there are servers out there that have a rule about not using vehicles, I also know that they are a lot of fun to play on but get ruined by people who can't read or just want to spoil it for everyone rather than going somewhere else to play.CrazeD wrote:

Getting in the tank would get you banned on one of the ones I use, your choice I guess
It's nice to know that now "N00b" has several meanings, when I first started playing online games, it was always in reference to a "Newb" I guess next time I am called this, the person will have to elaborate on which meaning was intended.DarkObsidian wrote:
