I dont know if it is just.  I do not know enough about it.  I can tell you it aint worth it up north due to the cold.  Maybe they have their reasons?  They dont want stranded cars all over half the country on a cold day in November?
I just figured it was the government overreaching their authority by telling us what we can put in our cars.  If it's a pollution issue, I understand, but other than that, doesn't it seem a bit nanny-state-ish?
But people are retards.  Cars would break down and freeze up, cause mass problems in traffic and insurance.  People would try "do it yourself" conversion kits and shit like that.  Its just a bad picture.
