Is any one else having problems with logging into BF2?
they were having problems with the account server a month or so ago,maybe they're having some issues again.if it's down it'll probably be back in an hour or so.

Actually, for about a month or two, every time I log in it takes around 3-5 minutes and its says I have failed to connect but I can still play anyway. Sometimes it even joins its on server or when I click join server, it will switch to the desktop...weird

Clear out your BF2 cache and BF2 logo cache. Did that yesterday and I login in about 4 seconds.:blacKOut: wrote:

I cleared both of them out yet I am still waiting 3-5 minutes to login and it just joined its own server again (It was a stat padding server ). Should I try to clear out the xpack's cache or something else? Thanks.Mint Sauce wrote:

Try removing all servers in your favourites & history list (green servers are favourites): the more servers there are, the more it has to ping when it logs in, and so it takes longer to log in, esp if a server is down...BF2 takes ages to respond
Basically, look in the stickies of the BF2 section, here, and download BADHQ TOOLS, it does it all for you..

My login time takes from 2 to 5 minutes. I do not think it took this long in the first year of the game's inception. I just reinstalled the game (HD issues) and it still took awhile. It seems to have been getting longer. More inconvenient that anything.
I cleared me cache...after several times i am able to play!
