I'm looking at HD TV's at the moment...not sure if we are actually buying one or not but I found this one at Costco.

Sceptre 32" 1080P LCD HDTV

Supposed to be on sale next week, online only, for $650 I think.  Is it a good deal or no?

And lol typo - "The Sceptre 32” Full 1080P LCD HDTV, brings brilliant life like imaging to your fingertips. Whether for professional for residential applications, the Sceptre 42” is a perfect fit."

Yeah..I have a 20" Monitor from them and it's pretty good.  It was cheap:)

Though I never heard of them before I saw the screen on Newegg.

2500:1 contrast is rather low..  that's not dynamic though.

For $650 it sounds like a decent deal. Although this is 720p, you'd actually get a much better "pop" with the picture. The resolution would be virtually negligible on a 32" screen.

Nice..I'll check it out.  Anything's better than the 10+ year old Zenith box I have in my room at the moment.
