So yea doing research on those certifications and possibly going to get a couple of them. What do you guys think of them?
crap , experience is greater than any certification the only certification worth getting is CCIE which is the best certification in IT. Also after three years you have to retake them again which is a bitch

Well this course I might be taking you get 3 of them over 6 months. The course only runs for 6 months. As of right now I don't have any degree/certifications. Thats why i'm looking into it.
Retake after 3 years ? I wouldn't even waist my time with that.
It really going to depend on how much they want to charge me for those classes. I'm not so much worried having to retake them anyways in 3 years. For the simple fact that you need to keep up on current tech anyways. I also know most companies if you have foot in the door that is will pay for the rectification. But, I might go after the cisco one too. Who knows I need to get in an IT job first. lol
The course at my college included a CCNA, so I took that, it was pretty easy tbh, I don't know how employers view it though.

Well I know this much i've got to do something because having nothing sucks bad.
A CCIE is such a high level certification that most companies don't even bother trying to keep some on the payroll as they command too much money. They are usually contract workers, and they rake in mega bucks.Obiwan wrote:
