Karkand is for people who haven’t got / realized how good special forces actually is.

Special forces was made the way it is because of the popularity of karkand, points can be made just as easily, probably easier actually.
Yes SF is good, but my PC don't agree with me on that.

Most of the 10 top ten players just play karkand. Why? Can't they handle the air power? Should they be allowed in the top ten as they haven't played all the maps and are really map stat padding as there is no airforce?
and what about it??  if they prefer city maps more than others, so what. everyone plays like they want. and i think naabs are they whose can't kill without any vehicle.

As much as the top ten have played I really dont think they fear airpower, they are in a race with all the others trying to keep on top, thats what the game turns into when your on top, so karkand ofcourse! the ultimate meatgrinder.

P.S. some of them even have air as their favorite vehicles.

Soo.... by not flying a jet makes all us groundpounders searching for a bus loaded with retards going to Chuck E. Cheese?  I fly well, I like dogfights...what I don't like is waiting for that plane to arrive all shined up for me and all I see is the 15 second countdown because someone else wanted it, or I am in a queue bigger than the 'SpaceMountain' ride at Disneyland in August that is extended to hold 150 more people. In other words it's harder to get into a plane/tank/whatever than to get the rank of Private First Class. So no, I play Karkand and Warlord and soon to be China Wall, because I am tired of the flyboy tk butter bitches.

Some people don't like having the crap bombed out of them? What nerve.

BTW, general,  note you have a pretty god distribution of time spent on the various maps, so at leat you practise what you preach.
Thx. I'm just making an observation that you can't really be No.1 in a tank, for example, unless you've gone against all the BF2 vehicles jets/attack heli's etc. It seems to me to be a bit pointless having a K/D ratio of 17 in armour if you never really fought against the air power. Somebody with a lower K/D in armour and plays all maps IMHO is a better player. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bothered about it, its just an observation. Karkand and similar maps are cool and everybody to their own but playing Karkand constantly to keep at the top of the leaderboard, isn't my cup of tea. But no offence to anybody that does.

I've played all maps; Wake being the third most... as I said before, getting tk'd for materialistic medals and points is retarded, and it happens EVERY round, someone's getting tk'd for the plane no matter what, and it's not going to be me anymore, that's why I switched to see what all the hoopla was about in city maps. Waiting for the plane is not my cup of tea. Everyone knows planes gives alot of points and is far superior, even now, I fly but it's really hard to get into a plane, you've got people parked on the runway just so you won't take off, what the hell is that? I don't take armor that much either..soooo the point being what is the difference in playing different maps when all you are is a grunt anyway??? Just different scenery; I choose Kark for the instant battle and I don't have to travel on foot 30000m away.  To each own I guess. I play to have fun, I'm not here to impress anyone except for my dog that wants me to get the DogBone Badge.

I think its really lame that people play just one map for signifiacantly more than others...... doesnt it get boring?!

I always play a mixture of maps, I still have my favourites... wake and oman but i dont just play those.

I find it interesting to play some of the other less played maps e.g. dragon valley, oilfields..

Karkand is actually my least favourite map because of the reason people play it..... its just a kill fest...
I see little or no teamwork at all.... people just play it for the kills and 'teamwork' (how reviving someone in the line of fire of a prone PKM just to get shot again is teamwork i dont know....

People play karkand for kills and points... just for the stats basicly.

I PLAY FOR FUN!        sure, i like getting medals, badges and ribbons but i play to enjoy myself...the idea of a game.

anyone agree with me...?

any other views?

I love daqing oilfields! I especially recommend everyone to try it now, and start using the AA tanks... if you place yourself intelligently (with a building for shelter, or in trees) you'll be amazed at the number of kills you can rack up on those chopper fucks.

I got a gold (30 something kills) exclusively in AA on daqing simply because the enemy pilots (jets too, i might add) hadnt adjusted their tactics to counter the improved AA. i sat there laughing after almost every kill.. i mean come on.. what sort of idiot charges the AA tank in his pansy chopper, then swirls off and turns on a dime without releasing flares once? Those 30 idiots did, and i smile at them in my sleep.

I think each player should play the game as he like. There are top 10 players ? Who cares.
For me it is important what I personally reached (medals, ribbons, fight skill....) not other players
and it's not fun if I play always the same map just to get better stats.
I like all maps, one more, one less, but diversity is fun. Here infantry, there heli, next jet ....

My favorites are Fu-She and Sharqui and I don't like Oman and Clean Sweep, but as mentioned before
I like to 'adapt' to new situations (maps).

I think a lot of people have their favourite maps depending on the play style they feel most comfortable with. I try to play all the maps if if can although there are some i don't like. These i treat as a challenge and use them to try out different tactics and play styles although i normally just end up with a sucky score. Good learning experience really.
