Hahah new problem. I downloaded Windows Live Messenger I didn't want any of the extra shit so I unchecked it all. Then I clicked install and it downloads it. Then I really install it still don't want any of the stuff but I get an error when installing it:

No I know where it downloads and everything. It just won't. Like it will ask save file nothing happens after that even in the download list.

i did a little search for your error, and some other guy had this problem. i am copypasting the answer that worked for him. these are not my words...

"I had the same problem with all Windows Live products. There's an easier way than reinstalling windows. Go to Start>Run, type 'cmd' and enter each of these one at a time, hitting 'enter' after each one:

regsvr32 wuapi.dll
regsvr32 wuaueng.dll
regsvr32 atl.dll
regsvr32 wucltui.dll
regsvr32 wups.dll

This will fix a variety of problems people have with Windows Live products and other windows update issues like repeatedly getting a message from the security center that automatic updates are off when the automatic updates window says they are on."
