You guys are jerks.  It's their server, not yours.  This is not stat-padding!  These are a couple of guys who want to have some fun undisturbed on their server.  If you join, and then get kicked for not following the rules, that's your fault.

EA and Dice say weapon restrictions on ranked servers is a form of stat-padding?  Well I'm sure you're all familiar with their often misleading words of wisdom, die-hard license agreements, and excellent technical help. 

Look at it this way, what if they hadn't kicked or banned you, and let you stay on their server.  While they keep playing with pistols and knives, you keep mowing them down with restricted weapons.  Would you have came in here and complained then?  It's no better to noob-toob, bunny-hop, dolphin-dive, building-exploit, OR stat-pad, than to run into a server with knives and pistols only, and pull out a PKM and mow down the entire server and all it's players.  I'm sure you would have gotten one hell of a score from that, and that my friend does not make you "awesome" or "leet" - that makes you a stat-padder yourself.

This game is ruled by the unskilled, the hypocrite, and the complainer now.  It makes me sick.

By the way mhawk, you aren't a n00b because you can't play, on the contrary, it's because you're a hypocritical jerk.

They should make a motto for Battlefield 2; "It's my (the n00b) way, or the highway."

It may be their server, but it's EA's game, and being a ranked server isn't an automatic right, rules have to be followed. Why are you mad at me? Why am I a hypocritical jerk? Actually I've been quite surprised how hostile people have been to this thread. If they want an undisturbed game they should just make it unranked, its not that hard.

let me add a little bit there, I am another one of mhawk's roommates and I was watching what was happening and while the screen shot may have proved that the server should be shut down he was able to proove that the admin was banning people for not choosing the weapons the proper weapons.  This infringes on the EA rules of BF2 and does mean that stat padding is involved.  Secondly as mhawk and I were watching this we witness guys knifing each other then reviving each other right there in the open, this is a complete violation of the rules and therefore was stat padding.  Lastly because of the message that admin gave justification for kicking that is grounds for the server being shut down permanently.

There will always be the guy who will take his ball and go home cuz he didnt like the way you played.  Or an admin. who hate's that you just raped his clan on their server and kick you.  I hate sore-losers makes me wanna put them in SKITTLES MAKE-UP TIE THEIR SHIRT IN A KNOT AND HOLD ON TO MY INSIDE-OUT POCKET WHILE WE WALK THE SQUARE IN KARKLAND WHILE I TRICK THEM FOR AMMO PACKS TO THE SPEC-OPS GUYS. You dont like the way I play ask me to leave I will screw your server there's at least 900 more to play on but don't give me a kicked stat cuz I killed you a couple of times.

Exactly.  If you chose not to read the rules of engagement when you started playing and again when you purchase a server then you are an ignorant fool.  Ignorance however is not an excuse for cheating the system.  If you want to run one of these style servers you can.  The only catch is it can't be ranked.

I think hes just mad cause its ridiculous how people even care about what other people are doing. Especially in a video game. In a way, everytime I see someone start a thread like "STAT PADDERS!!! NEED TO BUST THEM!!!!" It makes me think that the BF2 community has turned into a freaking retired living community where everyone is in everyones business. They may as well make a crime watch vehicle in every map cause its come to that. The sad thing is, I bet people would want to do that instead of having fun playing. I'm so sick of people complaining about what others are doing in ranked servers... I can't wait til some good mods come out.

Yah... you know there is a reason for that little checkbox on your server filters.  You know.. the little "Ranked" checkbox?  If you want to go fuck around with pistols and knives, be my guest, but take it where it belongs.  I could probably get more kills using just a pistol in a normal server then you could in your little pistol only servers.

Um, you missed the point man. I'm not gonna be a jerk. But since when does a few losers stat padding affect your game experience. It doesn't. Unless you are obsessed to the point that you can't enjoy yourself over people cheating their way into the leaderboards. Hacking is just stupid. It ruins your game experience. Now, read the title of the thread. Now, read it again. Does it mention "getting" hackers? No, sir. But hey, at least you're right about me not having the same attitude towards hackers. Now, its time you get back in you stat pad crime watch car and waste some more of your time instead of playing.

So pistol and knife only servers are against EA rules? I ask this because I played on one for the first time tonight. My pistol kills nearly doubled and I'm almost to expert now so I can see how it's an easy form of pistol stat padding. I thought personally it was fun that way. Made the game more even becuz all guns were the same and everyone had equal chance. Although after getting killed non pistol too many time I said fuck it, got in the tank, and mowed them all down while they bitched at me and had their pistol rounds bounce off me.

So u were kicked for killing and admin? Um thats happened to me before. Admins are rediculous because some of them think they should be able to kill everyone in their server but not be touched themselves!  This is definitely stat padding.

The bastard should be banned...anyways why would u play on a server where someone wasnt allowed to be killed?
