I'm tired of my G5. It's too big and bulky. I'd like something with a relatively flat top and not one that takes up your entire hand. Wired...not wireless.

I was thinking the Razer Diamondback

Word up dood...... i had 1 too (until a thunderstorm killed my motherboard and fried my MX518). Now I use a Razer Copperhead Green (and it totally kicks arse )

That's why I'm asking...I've never owned anything other than a $60 (probably $5 now, it's 4 years old) and a G5 so I want some opinions from people that have.

Diamondback should be pretty leet, since it is a stripped down version of the copperhead I use, and this is definitely pretty leet.

do you have friends that have these mice or a store in your town with these mice? If you do try them out and see which feels right and buy it if not go for the one you like best for the features etc.

Just looking at the lachesis stirred my curiosity. I looked at the reviews on newegg and suddenly lost interest.

Actually, all of those mice have low review ratings. Mx518 has an 80% 5 star rating.

MX518 = win.

How the fuck do people hate the G5? It's basically a laser mx518, there is almost no difference except 2000 dpi.

I'm going to rule out the Lachesis mainly because it's expensive and it looks hard to get used to. If I were to choose between the Copperhead and the Diamondback, which would it be?
