Anyone else interested in getting this phone? I've read plenty of reviews and most of them seem to be overwhelmingly positive.

I'm thinking about getting it, anyone have any thoughts?

Looks cool, $200 isn't that bad but I bet like the voyager the touch screen will fail miserably but maybe not. Looks good to me I give it a thumbs up

The touch screen is ok, and the reviews are decent. For a verizon phone, I say go for it.

I still don't know why people need 42 features on their cellphone. Check your e-mail when you get home and since you probably already have an MP3 player that allows you to watch videos and listen to music there's no point in spending $50+ on a phone that does that for you.

If it were me, I'd get something that allows you to phone and text people nothing more.

Its actually pretty damn nice.

My friend has the sidekick thingy, it comes in handy at a lot of random times. Being able to randomly Google anything when ever you have a question is pretty nice.

What a coincidence i was just looking at phones. Probably going to go with Samsung SCH-i760. I actually need something with some capability since I work in place with a locked down network

If the reviews are positive it's more than likely worth it.

There is always one...

I'd say go for it, its probably a huge improvement on the LG viewty (which was a terrible phone)

? And what about for people who handle many things and find themselves needing to email people throughout the day. Sometimes I leave my house at 7AM and I'm not back until about 11PM - I can't go for 16 hours without checking my email because I'm constantly receiving mails that need tended to.

I think what ebug9 is referring to are the people who can never unplug. They always have to be connected, even when they're on the toilet, you know?

I kind of agree with him, though. If you want an mp3 player, buy an mp3 player. You get better sound reproduction and everything. Or buy a Sony Ericsson phone.

I got a 4 gig card for my phone and its great. I don't worry about sound THAT much... but my cell is always on me, so any random time I get a song stuck in my head I can bust it out and listen

Its also nice to only have to carry a pair of headphones and not a whole other electronic device.... pockets get too full.

The email I could care less about... but the google in your pocket has so many random uses that you would never think of its amazing.
Any little dispute can be solved easy, when people say things in units you are not familiar with you can just bust it out and look up the conversion... just tons of random stuff you wouldn't think you need but is amazing nice to have at any time, and if it doesn't mean carrying around extra junk why not?
