I dont know if its just me but the l85 only works for me sometimes. Ill snipe people 1 or 2 shots, an up close just mow them over, then next thing i know i cant even hit or get a kill with it. The G is good for up close, i mean one burst takes out someone.i g wrote:

I enjoyed using the l85 for long range headshots, but on automatic it fails badly.
I use neither of them, I suck with the L85, and the E makes me feel dirty. But the times I've picked up the E and used it, it's done what I expected it to do. Just point it in the general direction of the enemy and it'll kill for you.

accordi ng to me the g36e is the most op weapon in bf2 so obviously that is my answer but i hate it and im not very fond of the l85 either but better than whorespray...m16 is my thing , but overall i hate all medicweapons..theyre all to overpowerd and i honestly think that they wouldnt need anything else than a pistol and knife + nades as wepons.
they get enough pts from reviving others,healing others and everyone in bf2 nowdays throw nades anyway...I mean think logic medics are those who shall SAVE the most people in the field, not the ones that KILLS the most

some of my best rounds is with the l85,but I'm not good in cqc with it.i use AK for aggressive play and l85 for long shots and sniping.but in the hands of a skilled player the l85 is very lethal..
L85 is so fucking unaccurate.

they are pretty much the same to me, i just use different tactics with each gun... if i end up with the 36, its because i picked it up or got rez'd. its a mid to long range killer, excellent accuracy, but shit ammo capacity and no full auto. the 85 is usually my medic choice, also a long range killer, but it suffers from wild deviation (for me at least) so mid range engagements are a bit tougher. but the full auto capability gives it the CQC advantage over the 36. i rarely use the 16, but its basically a less accurate version of the 36 tbh. i never quite got the hang of it though... but the AK is my preferred medic wep. i seek this out when playing IO and im on the US, because it just rapes. period.

the m16 is a bit better up close cause of the burst speed.
but i agree with you. the m16 is the worst medic gun in the game. weak, ugly iron sights, huge recoil on burst in comparison with the g36e... ugh.

The L85A1 has served me well, and I ought to use it more. I especially like it on big maps where there's plenty of long-range combat. I never really liked playing sniper, but the L85 hasn't failed me at longer ranges. In CQC it's almost as good as the other guns too, IMO. 3 to 5 shots to down your enemy at full health, and I find it to be pretty accurate. I mean, no less accurate than the others. Maybe it's just me? o.O
That said, the G36E is just dirty. I've picked it up plenty of times (it's like, who DOESN'T use it?) and it was very effective. Despite the fact that maybe I PERSONALLY like the L85A1 more and that I PERSONALLY think it can be more effective than the G36E, the question is which is better, and I would have to say G36E.
