Yay they tested it at hexus.net! The card performs awesome and blows the gtx280 away and it runs everygame on maxed settings with ease! Well except crysis, well maybe if you crossfire 2 4870X2's the "very high" settings are posible on 1680x1050 . The card is going to cost around €400 .

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. You weren't right, because you bought the 260 card before the price drops, so it still makes you look like a right mug, especially cos in that Anandtech review, the 4870 still comes out on top in everything but Oblivion and power consumption.

I'm just saying what I see here. I'm no fanboy, I don't own neither cards, and all my cards have been nVidia cards (fx5500, 6600, 7600gs lol)

Exactly, he was right to the extent he paid £50-70 for a card that is at best on par with a 4870.

Meh I have an 8800GT, and I'm not planning to upgrade anytime soon . The only game I play at the moment is BF2 occasionally .
