My family just got me into it and, I must say, it is an excellent show.  It basically follows some of the NYPD and NYFD, but it has such a good deep storyline. 

I just saw this scene in an episode tonight.  Basically, the guy killed this cop's sister and she finally corners him.

I prefer the show Hack

The series centers on the life of a former cop, Mike Olshansky (David Morse), who was fired for corruption, working as a taxi driver in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He considers it his duty to make up for his past wrongs by helping everyone the police won't help.
It's got some really good story lines.

I remember seeing that on TV! Didn't watch Third Watch much, but it wasn't too bad.

Used to love that show, only watched it when i skived off college though, C4 daytime TV ftw. Haven't seen it in a couple of years now which makes me a sad panda.

yeah too bad they shut it down... but then it's good they took it off while it was still good instead of having it rot to death
