Also, we only have venomous animals, attacks are rare, and IIRC Manhunt is about the only game ever refused classification in Australia (and possibly it's sequel, not sure).

Still, 2 games is hardly something to write home about.  I don't think they should have been refused classification, but I also think that we need better policing of age classifications on video games.

It was the lying that really got me. Which he did a fair bit of to be fair. Still most politicians do. Oh, and the poorly considered decision to invade a sovereign nation which posed no credible threat to Australia.

Yeah, but I don't class that as nanny state, I class that as police state behaviour. Two different things to my mind. Nanny state is more acceptable. I would have written to Snowdon (local member of the House of Reps) about them but he doesn't listen to anybody from Katherine, Alice Springs or Nhulunbuy. We aren't essential to his electorate.

4% isn't as high as they were when Howard was first elected.... Went down before they went up. Mostly independent of what the Fed Government was doing at the time. Still not the major catastrophy much of the media made them out to be though.

China? No. Not china if you want to make a future business, China is a big bubble, and unless they're gonna fix shit they're gonna burst. Vietnam is where you want to move industry into.

But for time being, China is good imo, near future not so much.

China is going to be importing a hell of a lot more coal than Vietnam ever will. Bust or not they still open factories like mad each week and the demand got existing factories isn't going to slow any time soon.
