Me and a few friends want to make a movie, we made several allready and are now looking for a challenge, so we came up with the idea to make some weapons ourselves, it would be cool if it would look real.

The weapons we are trying to make are:
G36C
M249
M95

Yes i know they are all from battlefield, but the average person wont notice.

So how can I make a good looking result?
I got lots of wood, so that wouldnt be a problem.

Any tips?

Unzip your battlefield stuff and get the sounds for the guns to use.

get the sound files from America's army for SAW and M82, and for G36 just get a sound clip of a particularly powerful fart

Yeah I'd go with cheap airsoft for the easy way.

..and paint over the orange tips or something.

Hmm ok, thats what my friend suggested too, but i cant spend money now.

Go down to...Oostende I think it is, in Belgium.

Last time I was there there was a store selling airsoft-ish stuff.

If you get some money to spend, check it out.

They were selling nice looking pistols for 20 Euro or so.
