I am not overclocking and even if I did, abit boards are very good for that. As for the video card I have now purchased an ATI 3650, thought I'd try ATI. The computer is NOT for gaming (maybe i'd run SAMP) but I have my own P.C for gamesG-NOT_(:0) wrote:
lol, actually i dont. that mobo is really terrible for oc'n and far from being stable. choose a diff one, and as for your 8500gt, "it goes to show how much you fail". lol choose a diff vid card, something better, 8500gt's are bleh, get a 8800gs or a gt...hell, get a 9600gt for only 150.Kurazoo wrote:

I know its not for gaming, you want SPEED, but the 3650 is an alright choice, 5x better than the 8500gt though.Kurazoo wrote:

I'll keep the O.P updated, if it all goes wrong, rub my face in it.
Not that much though, since it's the DDR2 version. Should do just about anything else though, and bf2 for example runs fine on it.G-NOT_(:0) wrote:

lol trust me, i use to own a 8600gt and it was terrible...the 8500gt, hahaha, now thats something else. I consider any card better than the 8500gt, of course any lower than that is not better, but you catch my drift.DeathUnlimited wrote:

Please remember this is a very demanding 64bit operating system. As i've said, there is little difference in price between the C2D's anyway.SpIk3y wrote:
That CPU is totally overkill for a family computer, you could have saved $100 there. It should impress the hell out of everyone though.
