I read about recent fad in the Redneck Riviera where people were buying peacocks as pets. You must have either an old socialite as a neighbor, or a gay neighbor, or an illegal hunt was planned.

In Rancho Palos Verde in L.A. there used to be a peacock farm. During a fire a few of the birds escaped.
Now they are a pest. The sit on houses and cars, shitting screaming and being a pain in the ass.
You can make money killing them if your into that as they make a lot of noise.
