Yah, I just browsed through BFG and it looks like they're doing it too.

I'm not sure who initiated this, but it's a good thing considering that the sudden price drops pissed off a lot of people.

Wow. It's not often you see large companies actually give REAL MONEY back.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

I <3 evga. I've gotten two cards from them so far, the 7800 GT that I'm still running in my pc, and a 7800 GS AGP for my brother's aging pc. Both work really well, and I know I have good support when I need it.

I've also purchased a BFG 7600 GT OC for my sister's computer, which also works splendidly. It's good to see BFG, EVGA, and XFX stepping up like this. Doing this will generate so much loyalty it's sick. Hell, they've already swayed me in my next card purchase just by doing this.
