Wait so if only a few scenes are in IMAX, what's the point? After you see those epic scenes the rest will look like crapcablecopulate wrote:
Yeah I probably would have caught it on a regular screen, but it's got a few scenes filming using IMAX cameras so I figure I'll go there for the full effect.mtb0minime wrote:
regular movie screen is good enough for me.

That's why you get a seat all the way in the back(assuming your theater has a top to bottom seat unliked a leveled floor seats in one of my city's theater..Kmarion wrote:
Imax gives me a headache. Who the hell wants to have to turn their head to see the entire scene?
Or just go to a normal theater and sit really close.=NHB=Shadow wrote:

C'mon Kmar, you've gotta have been in an IMAX theatre (Florida has a LOT) and know the difference between regular and IMAX theatres is substantial. Nothing gives the same experience as IMAX, except maybe a home theatre that's truly stacked out. Y'know, 1080p projector on a 108" screen, leather seats, 7.1 sound set up...the works.Kmarion wrote:

Actually, the best way to watch new films are personal screenings for award consideration._j5689_ wrote:

Meh, I got a headache from the teacup ride at Disney (but not the Hulk at universal or Rock N' Roller Coaster) and I'm fine in IMAX films.Kmarion wrote:

I'd give you a list of what triggers my migraines but I'd probably get a migraine doing it.Poseidon wrote:
