[360] I'm not liking the new dashboard.

It just don't feel right. Feels like they are trying to make it more like a media center than a gaming console. Its nice and all since I know thats what they want. But, all I want to do is game and maybe watch an occasional movie on. I really like this avatar bull ether.

The new dashboard. Hmm.

Well I don't really like the feel of the current one, but that new one, while looking a lot cleaner, looks like it'll take an age to navigate.

I'm going to withhold judgement until I get it .

The themes look a lot more worth having on the new one.

Neither of them are good. The old one is ugly, too colourful, too many navigation buttons. The new looks cleaner but messier at the same time, usability seems to have been compromised for shiny new buttons. Meh, they were never really good at designing things.

Looks like they were trying to mimic the XMB (to some extent), but failed a bit and made it cluttered. They should have worked on a lighter, more streamlined version of the old dashboard instead.

Funny thing too, turned on my tv, just happen to catch some E3 coverage and saw the avatar thing, and notrealizing it was the MS conference, I though it was a new thing for the Wii, sorta sad to see such a direct copying going on, but imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

No you get that when you have an xbox.

Just to let some people know that XBox Live is free. Mean you get all updates for dashboard and games. You can always buy stuff from market place. You just can't play against other people.
