Am I supposed to have internet on my phone?

See, on the first two phones I've had, the internet was disabled completely but this one can do anything internet related and since my parents aren't home yet, i'm wondering this:

Would they have to select internet to be enabled when they renewed my plan or does the phone come that way by default?

The new phone is a Razr V3xx by the way, it's already WAY better than the original Razr which is what I had before. DHL delivered it this morning, which is a day over the 2-day shipping my dad ordered.

If your contract states you need to pay extra for internet, be prepared for muchos bucks to be drained.

Phone internet is only good for looking stuff up on wikipedia anyway.

Yeah, I'm just wondering, is it supposed to be enabled by default and you have to tell them to disable it? Or do you have to enable internet in the plan before you order the phone?

Internet should come with your regardless of your plan. But if you don't have a specific plan, be prepared to pay a lot of money per minute.

Fuck, that means they probably didn't order it. Maybe I can convince them to get the unlimited plan anyway because it's bullshit that they can have and we can't.

It should be enabled, unless you specifically state you don't want it.

If you want to disable it manually just piss about with the settings, it's what I've done to avoid accidental use, having a touchscreen phone can be a hazardous thing
