This is why I am so anti-war - though I accept many people do many great and honourable things during war, it also makes otherwise good people to do shitty things, and gives bad people a perceived 'excuse'.
it is how borders were formed.  and will never end tbh.  it is like being anti oxygen.  no point really.
I'm anti-borders too.
No, borders were the first form of truce.  The strong will always take what they want or need from the weak, unless the strong have a moral code to prevent it.  Then then weak make themselves stronger to prevent another attack if they can.  Then they fight.  One to protect themselves, the other to keep the sweet deal they had.  After fighting for a while and getting tired, they agree to meet.  "You stay on your side of the river and I will not attack you, I stay on my side of the river and you do not attack me.  Deal?" "Deal."  Thus began the first border.

Being anti-borders is extremely unrealistic.  Besides, we've all seen in history what happens to cultures that don't have official borders when a technologically superior society comes in to take what it wants.

Historically, yes, there are very good reasons for our borders, but, we are not living in those times any more.

Scorpion, take a look at Africa.  Borders are a big deal there, and many wars are fought over them even today.
