Microsoft tbh. Finally brought SOME innovantion to the table; (LOVED "You're in the Movies") along with the games we want to see and a few that may be cool in the future.
I think Nintendo had a very meh conference due to nothing special besides Wii Motion plus. Though I'm still sure it'll still be HUGELY successful.YOU WERE DOING FINE UNTIL THIS Opinion
Sony had a really good conference, Visual wise... I was impressed with the content management and that was about it, to be honest. Of course God Of War III will be a good game, but all I saw for now was some pre rendered stuff. OF COURSE IT WAS PRE RENDERED, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT IF THIS WAS THE ANNOUNCEMENT * MAG could be really good, or really fail. Very 2-sided coin like probabilities. THIS WAS ONE OF THE BIGGEST ANNOUNCEMENTS OF THE E3 Opinion** Home looked good. But really only eye-candy. HOME IS SHIT, A SIMS WANNABE Opinion Though I think it's one of the best things Sony has going for it.
Microsoft had killer games too, like Fallout 3 and stuff. And the Resident Evil 5 co-op mode was though Avatar thing was pretty low of them to do. Ok-ish at best. THOSE GAMES ARE FOR PS3 TOO ***
EDIT: Btw WTF, many companies had shit missing. Like Killzone 2 KILLZONE 2 WAS PRESENTED BOTH DURING THE SONY CONFERENCE (SHORTLY) AND IN ANOTHER CONFERENCE WHERE THEY RELEASED A NEW E3 TRAILER ****, Bungie's un-announced game, (even though they're not with MS; they could very well be 3rd party devs for 360) and I THINK no Halo Wars.
* = With next-gen graphics especially from an internal studio; being one of the heavy hitters and (even though the games will surely be AMAZING) a valuable Sony hype machine; add to that with the advent of stunning next-generation graphics I think it's certainly not too much to ask for a live in-game trailer. (Like Microsoft did with Halo 3, and even though Rockstar is a 3rd party company, they still did put out live gameplay trailers)
Opinion ** = Just because (again there was no live gameplay trailer) they showed it at the end of the press conference doesn't mean that it's one of the "biggest announcements of
THE (lol) E3"
Opinion *** = Again, nice assumption. If you've noticed, throughout my past posts in this topic I've been talking about who's
press conference was the best. [Atleast in the aforementioned] Not who was the best in general, not who had the most "exclusive games" in general. I only thought that Microsoft's
conference was the best because it showcased the games (even though
multi-platform) were shown in the Microsoft press conference "exclusively" (ie. RE5 co-op announcement; live gameplay demo) Why must you assume the
conference of my choice (as in the content that was shown
in the press conferences) matches my immediate
console of my choice?Opinion **** = That's right; in
another press conference held privately by the developer company. It doesn't
stray from the fact that that it wasn't [properly] shown at the Sony press conference. A live gameplay trailer; or even a simple trailer (though I doubt it, after the CGI controversy and the reveal of actual live gameplay) would not be totally out of the question since Killzone 2 is one of the strongest and most anticipated games (imo) Sony has in its upcoming games catalogue.
Now if I look at the quote, many of the things you've stated are undeniably opinions and blatant assumptions. Forcing them on me with caps-lock and bold is pretty fucking annoying, not to mention immature. I'm pretty sure D&ST even frowns upon that.
By the way sergeriver; from the CRUISE CONTROL caps and the the "bigger than you"
bold I think you're failing to keep a level head in this discussion. I'm pretty sure this is
not for you.
