A guy I work with lives out in BFE.....he only has dialup.  He has a Wii and a computer (with the internal modem).  Is there a way to connect a WRT54G to the computer in such a manner that his Wii can communicate to the internet wirelessly through the router -> through the computer's modem to his dialup connection?

He is investigating getting satellite broadband but doesn't have it yet.

I'm guessing you'd have to set up the router as a router instead of gateway.  Then set up the computer with net sharing and have it act as the gateway?

Thanks in advance

The speed would be way too slow, don't even bother trying.

Advice aside, yes it would be possible to do it, I think you'd bridge the modem and ethernet port then plug em in, I dunno, if needbe I'll figure out a solution later.

You could try to enable internet connection sharing on the dialup.
