Garbage. I found something similar on my FTP site a few years ago. It contained thousands of sub-folders which were all filled with several GB of French and German mp3s and movie files. Someone was using my site as a storage place. They created some of the folders with unreadable characters, so I couldn't even delete it all. Delete it now and start looking for security holes in your system.

it was empty though so i caught it early
I had one before. Just deleted it...
