Which is better for your pc, I know cathode emits more light. Also any suggestions on some good ones.

Neither is really better for your PC. I prefer cathodes, they light your whole PC light a light bulb would. LEDs usually just light a very specific point. As for good one, I haven't encountered any brands that are better than others. All seem to work well
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Cathodes light up large areas but can be a pain to place where you really want them, LEDs go in tight spaces and light specific things.

Avoid Sharkoon cathodes, built like utter shit, other than they they're all pretty much average.

Cathodes are brighter than LED's, so if you wanted "less" light, El wire (LED lined wire) would be better.

LED's are a focused beam of light. Think flash light vs fluorescent bulb. LED's also work great if they can be diffused, so the light spreads out. Such as behind a piece of frosted acrylic or paper.

But, I prefer CCFL's. Mine are unbearable to look at if my side case is off, and light up half my desk with the cover on. Only like 10$ too.
