ok, I made a mistake. i forgot the exact figure that a mile was, but yes, it isn't 13 miles, but it isn't 2.5 either. 1 mile is about 1700 feet, so 13000 feet is roughly 7/8 miles. my point still stands on how you can overshoot that length of runway. did they forget to apply the brakes or something?

1 mile = 1.6k meters
therefore 13k feet = 2.5 miles.
