I had a bunch of douchebags in my theatre as well. Two asian kids (probably cowami, lul) who would NOT shut up about the previews...when the Terminator preview came on they practically orgasm'd.

In addition to the worst fucking parents in the world who not only bring their 4 year old kid to a movie filled with sadism, death and destruction, but allow him to talk throughout.

So I'm stuck in a rut and going slightly crazy here, I mean I'm the biggest Batman fan I know, I thought Batman Begins was awesome (though a bit slow at the beginning, but that was needed to explain the plot) and I have all of you guys ordering me to see it.

lolwut? I never said that my mom is inviting me on a date, I said that the only way I'd realistically be able to get to see the movie is if I ask my mom to take me.

And how is not seeing the movie right now gay? As much as I love Batman and movies that don't suck I'm prefectly capable of waiting until it comes out on DVD.

And the movie was fucking amazing. Only bad part was the black woman (IT'S ALWAYS THE BLACK WOMAN GO AHEAD AND CALL ME RACIST YOU KNOW IT'S TRUE) who had to say something ("oh no...") or make a sound (hmmm or nuh-uh) when something happened.

we have 2 movie theaters in our town, only 1 played the movie(it was the good theater so thank god) their were 4 12:00 midnight showings on thursday, but i saw the showtimes for the movie for today, they wee 30 mins each from 10am to 10pm

I overheard the manager of the theater I went to telling some friends that TDK sold out midnight showings on 2 screens, and those were their first sell outs at the theater ever (It opened about a year and a half ago).

This is normal though. Newly released movies usually shoot up to #1 on imdb, it just takes a while for them to fall down the list.
