Meh only 2 reasons holding me back from moving out of America. One of the cheapest gas prices and very low tax rates.

I've always had a soft spot for Sweden, a country that implements the "Nordic Social Policy" best and hence got through the last recession (early 90's) much faster than others because of it. Stockholm is one of the most beautiful capitals in the world, hospitable and polite people, awesomely beautiful women. Also, what always makes me lol in Sweden, are the endearingly naive signs that E.g. say Down | Not Down (two escalators beside one another).

Runners up (in no particular order):

- Czech Republic for beer
- Finland for win (gotta have some patriotism, and the country doesn't suck otherwise either)
- Australia for being generally cool and relaxed.
- NZ for awesome nature, fauna, winrar, Ty and not being held accountable for anything that is wrong in the world.
- The Netherlands. Do I need to explain why? (no, not because of the weed)
- Canada - The English-speaking part. Canada is the Finland of NA. We also have our non-aggressive separatists
- The UK. Great people in all constituent countries.
- The State of Washington for grunge.
- Cuba - for standing up against the man since 1959.
- Japan - for being at the pinnacle of technology and the biggest exporter of the most fucked up stuff available in modern media.

..and many more.

In terms of having fun, China is amazing. You can do ANYTHING you want if you have the money.

But um, China's skies are grey. I promise most pictures you've seen of China have been touched up to make colors more vibrant. The place is extremely dirty. While there are a lot of rich Chinamen, most people are very poor; it doesn't make for a beautiful place. I'm sure in the middle of the mountains it's extremely beautiful, but what you'll see in day to day life won't be pretty. I will say this though, in a big city it looks great at night time because most buildings have crazy neon lights everywhere.

But one of the most beautiful places I've stayed is my grandfather's farm in Finland. Summer time in Finland is awesome.

But a great place to live? The U.S. Sure, I was born and raised in NYC so I'm a little biased; but you don't pay nearly as many taxes as most other countries, you have freedom...You can be pretty sure if someone kills you they'll get in some sort of trouble. You know the government can't just do whatever they want with you. And after being in China, I really appreciate not having a "great firewall" back home.

So, even though I will be the first to tell you that there are so many places that are 100x more fun than the US, I do believe it's the greatest place to live (long term) and raise a family.

Lolwut? Escalators really say that in Stockholm? I haven't paid that much of attention due to raging hangovers (and trying to get back in the book of living in a local bar corner) while visiting our friendly neighbours Yep. Hot chicks there. No need to argue on that! Infact I might give Ingrid at Krapea a call later today

- Czech indeed, for Urquell. The beer just is a bit of heaven (the one you get at the tour directly from the barrell). Om nom nom nom. Oh, and Absinthe. Can't forget absinthe.
- Netherlands. Beautiful city and nice ppl (thanks to the two helpful girls for bar pointers at some pub at some square in december -06 )
- N.Y. for the Rangers
- Finland. Home sweet home.
- The fabulous country, and home of 1927, aka Wales, which I'll be checking out next year at the WC qualifier game

China? Been in Beijing twice. Not going again. Fuck the smog. Yech. Amazing scenery tho.

Switzerland and Denmark have always sounded nice but I've never actually been there.

In terms of countries I've actually been to the Czech Republic is very nice and I do have a soft spot for the French countryside. Germany is a pretty damn efficient place too, which makes it worthy of a few bonus points.
