Difference being i'll have £300 to play with!

Pentium D 2.8ghz
1gb ram
PSU = output is 115w, but it says it can hit 250w.
1440x900 native
case is whatever a packard bell imedia is

i cant think whatever else you might need to know.

Cannot exceed £300 inc. shipping, am not willing to overclock

I'm not sure how much that is American but if you pay more than 500 USD, you're getting ripped off.

Yes...go with everything except that video card. You can save yourself a few more bucks if you go with the EVGA one. Plus, EVGA is kickass and you could always use their step-up program.
