Hello guys.  I am a long time lurker around here.

Something just happened to me and I am anxious to get some advice.


I had been commanding in a server (Hammer 24/7 server) for several games as MEC commander.

I was hiding out in the back base fixing arty ect. 

The characters:
*MAFIA*Phantom  :   US Medic
Bobby90  :  MEC Medic


The medic on my time finds me alone away from all the action.  The Mafia character shows up and kills me.  The Bobby character then revives me.

  Each then begin a endless string of kill/revive.  I had a shotgun and never got a shot off before I was mowed down in succession.  They did this twice for a total of about 30 kills/ revives.  I made sure everyone realized what seems to be going on.  When I started bring it up . . . they initiated a kick vote against me.  As I was laying dead. . . for several minutes at a time . . there was not much of a way to command.

It's late night and as such none of hte hammer admins were around.



Is this something that is typical?  What is best to do in this situation?  Is there any chance of my having my stats reset from gubers such as these?

Commit suicide. Not to yourself. But in the menu of the classes. This is the best way to stop them. After that they could not revive you again.

Simply ignore, you sure won't have the bad luck to be a victim of such two again in the future month.
Next time be ready to take a screenshot.

Assign something to XFire's screenshot function until DICE fixes the screenshot function, then take screenshots. Video would be even better. Submit their info (usernames) along with the screenshots to BF2RS.

I haven't heard that one before, but it sounds funny.  I did get PO'ed once because this PUKE NOOB was Commander and killing us all and wouldn't resign - so being creative - I changed to Medic, found him and then commenced to kill him and revive him over and over and over and over and {u get the point}. 
It did hurt my points and I got TK's, but sometimes u gotta frag someone to make a point

In all seriousness - that sounds like stat padding, but I'm more concerned with the kick vote.  If people start kick votes as a process to remove someone who's reporting unacceptable behavior then it means it's a bigger issue for the person who owns the rights to the server and they might want to know.  If it's common on their server then It's an EA issue.  Also, I agree - screen shots.

Doesn't suprise me.  I used to play against the Mafia Clan in 1942, they were notorious for cheating/hacking/exploiting.

I can't remember the website, but they actually used to boast about it.  Saying something to the effect of "expect it if you come to play on our server".

just had the same thing happening to me and reported it  , it's the only way to get even i guess..
