Indeed, and now that Firefox 3 has sites it automatically blocks for you, surfing without fear of catching something is more guaranteed.  Depends though, if you enjoy going on crazy browsing surf sessions, an AntiVirus is a smart choice, if you only visit a handful of trusted websites, you'll be fine.

I use Symantec AntiVirus, (the business/enterprise version of Norton), it's small, doesn't hog my resources, and lets me play BF2 without any problems.

I use AVG free 8.0 and windows firewall.

Havent had any viri[infections, ive had warnings and telling me its been deleted/quarantined on the spot] in a year or more... maybe 2... ever since i started using NOD32
