the environmental hypocricy is not confined just to Al Gore. many other people preaching the 'green' life in hollywood have private jets, refuse to fly commercial, have mercedes G500s with 10 mpg fuel economy and such. the idea is not that they have these cars or live this lifestyle - it's just that they say YOU should not do this - but it's ok that i do. this sends a mixed message. Barbara Streisand and Tiger Woods have water bills of small towns! Yet, Barbara is one that is telling you that you shouldn't do xyz because of the environment. Actually NONE of these people are certified climatoligists either! i might believe them more if they had some credentials and lead by example. it shows that their belief is geniune. i have a sneaking suspicion that Al has some ulterior motives in this. he's a career politician - go figure.

Is the earth not heating like it has in cycles over many millenia? Ice core samples and other abundant evidence prove the earth is in fact heating. What's theoretical is if man is increasing the level of heating via carbon, and I believe that theory.

Does anyone remember the global cooling scare in the 1970s? How it turned out to be a load of bullshit? Well I categorize this global warming scare in the same crock of bullshit. It amazes me how many people can't step back and see the big picture, everyone just gets caught up in the new hot fad without thinking.
