Contemplating getting the bad boy for a few sims etc. I have a Cyborg Evo but it didn't last long and the responsiveness is shit. Is the X52 pro any good? It sure does look it and I have the moolah to afford it.
Unless your serious about flying or simulation, not worth it. Thing is overly complex and as more buttons and switchs and dials then you could think to use. Its a good setup, and fairly fun to use, but for the cost, not exactly worth it unless you are really into the flying and simulation scene. Otherwise your better off with a standard joystick, and saving the cash you save for a game, or something.Adams_BJ wrote:

I think the regular X52 would be fine unless you're real hardcore.
^^^ This. Unless you really play FSX a lot and plan to play HAWX a lot as well and get very serious into it, don't buy it. Only reason I'm getting one is because I'm taking flying lessons in a month, and I need something to help edjumacate me.SpIk3y wrote:

I knew a guy that used to be a pilot, in the gulf war and something else... he got that and he was pretty sick on it too, he said he loved it
but then again, he was a pilot (helicopter)

If you play real sims pretty much exclusively, then why not. (Talking along the lines of IL-2, Aces High, FSX, etc)
I have a X52, but that's because I play IL-2 and WWIIOL.
