well I've been thinking of why they didnt do a ejection seat in bf2?
I mean it can't be THAT hard can it really? I mean if you had the normail bail at button E and a SHIFT+E combination to eject yourself .

It feels real silly if lets say your plane is burning and about to expload...you press E before it explodes and die like 10meters away from it or when you've gone high and want to bail you get driven over by your own plane...or if you're about to crash and you bail and die of the explosion or wreckage explosion or the unabilety to pull up the parachute...

So people wadda ya say? please comment aswell as vote...my vote is obviously "yes I'd like an ejectionseat in bf2"

Or a stunt gone wrong...someone flying under a bridge, accidentally presses E and dies on impact after hitting the underside

OT: I think the way it is is just fine. If people bail, they deserve to die from the explosion or the plane part.

Just die with your plane fs, why deny the guy the kill just to suicide/walk halfway across the map to get back to your jet?

Even worse, when some twat jumps out of a heli you are flying and gets you a tk, then punishes...

lol that would be funny to see people eject so i can ram them with my plane. personally, if someone bails after i hit them, i dont really give a shit, especially if they're a good pilot. it will take them longer to get back in the air. or if the server has normal rules, i just go fly to their base and steal their jet while dumbshit bailer is walking back to his airfield.

End of the day: its more coding for a feature that can be achieved like it is on tanks and helicopters.

AFAIR, the whole cockpit with both pilot and gunner in it is ejected.

Blow the rotors > Blow the canopy > Eject the pilot > Watch the pilot wave the gunner goodbye while he crashes into the earth
