Anti piracy means the game is easier to play illegaly than legally.
They should just stop it.

Then again that means no more stories like this one, which made me laugh

i lol at all your little french phrase

Anyway, i admit that this was pretty shitty from Ubisoft, but in no way the spoken language is a problem, english speaking people had their share of failure also.

And Ubisoft Montréal is a pretty good game dev tbh.

Now i shall correct those of you that attempted french

This is another reason why Ubisoft completely fails at PC games and should stick to console.

To think that I actually came close to buying a game off them via Direct2Drive or whatever it is.

I love Ubisoft, but as far as I know, all piracy prevention has done is make it hard for "legit" players to play the game.

The people who develop those anit-piracy methods are fucking idiots.

Indeed, it's still going to be pirated with ease and it will be harder to play legitimately.

well, technically as the crack was of their Intellectual Property, they have copyright over the crack as well, and so actually are well within their rights to do this, as dumb as it seems. Whilst it may be true that it was Ubisoft's IP, it still reflects poorly on the company that is trying to combat piracy.

Realistically though, it wouldn't take very long to remove that from the hex for someone experienced. You would think somebody there would have known this.
