So I've decided to bring my desktop and laptop to college next year, but I don't really want to bring my massive coolermaster stacker...

I don't want to spend some huge sum on a case and my budget is around 100 bucks.  I want a 'normal' looking case with no side windows or anything to make people think 'hmm, that might be worth stealing' should someone forget to leave the dorm room locked...

I'm thinking about an Antec case like this one:

The only issue is cooling and room inside the case, I've been spoiled by a full tower case and haven't really had to worry about it... but switching over to a mid tower -- would a case like that be a problem?

Specs:

E6600
eVGA 6880i
8800 GTS G92
4 GB Ram

Get the P182, so you can mount the wires behind the tray. The P180B doesnt have that feature, i have one myself. Or get this one

also check out the CM690.  Personally I hate doors on the front and this is a nice roomy mid tower with great airflow and cable management out of the box.

I have the P180 and love it. To be honest, it isn't as quiet as I had read all these reviews to be but it is still a decent case. My only main issue is that the site panel sometimes gets stuck on, the sliding mechanism is jammed or something. Despite this, I'd recommend it! Only one thing I regret doing: plugging in the LED indicator to the motherboard ... I should really unplug it. It's a bright blue LED and which flashes pretty fast, at that.

Take a look at This case.  looks to be nice. I have one coming next week for a new build I'm doing.

I have a P180 and just to let you know they are pretty heavy, 33lbs empty - but very solid.  the P182 is definitely better since you can hide the mobo wires behind the mobo tray - but since it doesn't have a window what does it matter ?!  Also the only issue with the P18x cases is that its a long reach from the PSU to the motherboard for the 4pin 12v connector, but it will just reach.  The P182 also has the front door painted on the inside too, while the P180's is plain aluminum finish.  I painted my P180's door.

I can only recommend the P182. It's a great case
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
