lol. Except the numbers are nowhere near that and reality dictates otherwise as we have expounded upon umpteen times. 1.3 billion muslims in the world - you would expect bombs to be going off on a half-hourly basis if it were actually the case that the nearly 650 million Muslims you insinuate as being extremist were in fact that way inclined. Those that are involved in extremism, across the entire world, probably doesn't even hit 100,000. Reality is not lowing's friend.lowing wrote:

Ya mean People in the world are not being killed by the minute in the name of peace loving and tolerant Islam?
Never said ALL Muslims were terrorists Cam, never even insinuated it. That is your argument you need to make up to try and discredit what happens EVERYDAY in the name of Islam
People aren't getting killed every minute lowing. In fact, Islam-driven killings are pretty rare in the vast majority of almost 100% Muslim countries and even fewer and farther between in western countries. The only real problem areas are in fact warzones - Iraq and Afghanistan - and places like Western Pakistan: dirt poor shitholes. I don't see many extremists strapping bombs to themselves on the beaches of Dubai and Abu Dhabi.lowing wrote:

read on Cam
terrorism rare?
11526 attacks since 911
thats 1646 attacks a year
ya that is 4.6 a day Cam. I guess your "rare" amounts to the same as what you consider "a few" huh?

terrorism rare? try around 1646 attacks a year since 911
For example:
Murder, but not terrorism. There are numerous similar examples.A devout Muslim strangles his 25-year-old daughter in an honor killing.
2) As Cam said, almost all these terrorist incidents are in warzones - which is to be expected. How many happen in richer more stable Muslim countries - say; Dubai, Qatar, UAE, Turkey and such like?
I can believe that, I have debates with my Muslim mates and not one of them thinks like the poll suggests.Wes Streeting, president of the National Union of Students, condemned the study. “This disgusting report is a reflection of the biases and prejudices of a right-wing think tank – not the views of Muslim students across Britain,” he said. “Only 632 Muslim students were asked vague and misleading questions, and their answers were wilfully misinterpreted.”
lol, how many happen in the US or Canada, does your point somhow dismiss the acts themselves? Or who is comitting them?Bertster7 wrote:

What should we do. Poll all of the students on their various opinions regarding various killings, then we can make some racial/societal judgements about everybody.
polls allow people to speak in anonymity, thus being more open a free to say stuff. kind of like the web. much different than face to face.Vilham wrote:

You'd be more honest to a random person on the phone than one of your friends?usmarine wrote:

its funny you know. if the story had been "1/3 of the 1st US brigade" said it was ok to kill women and children, you all would be shitting your pants and this thread would be to 12 pages by now or be locked. interesting.
I think it's funny that nobody cares that Israeli Jews are bringing up their kids with the idea that genocide in the name of Judaism is just fine.usmarine wrote:

Post #22 in this thread; the majority of Israeli school children think that genocide in the name of Judaism is acceptable.usmarine wrote:

It was a research project done by George Tamarin in 1973 of Israeli school kids. Go find which ever links you like about it.usmarine wrote:

1973? can we stick to idk, 2000 or later?
I'm going to bet that after the first attempt, nobody got permission to do a follow up study.usmarine wrote:

People have become accustomed to the idea of extremists, or even general people of the same race/religion of the extremists, wanting them dead.
possible, yes.PureFodder wrote:
