Well I usually play on a crappy resolution so I decided to check the highest resolution out of curiosity. Once this was applied, the BOTTOM RIGHT portion of the game is displayed in the UPPER LEFT corner of my monitor. So now i can only see 1/4 of the game. Is there a way in the files to change my setting back to 800 x 600 without having to either guess with my ghost mouse off-the-monitor where the options in the game are OR reinstall the game?
add to the end of your BF2 shortcut and then set the res you want ingame. Then you can remove that bit from the shortcut again

Perfect, thanks guys. I initially put it in the title but that did nothing. I then went to properties and saw that that target had "+" this and "+" that and I knew where to finally paste. Thanks again for the fast response.
Next time I screw up this, i'll try the second approach of deleting that file.
