BF2S Forums What makes a BF2 server great to play on?

Yeah we certainley don't accomodate campers of any form, when we had the old servers up, uncaps were fair game on Infantry Only. Good comment about spawn control when players are capping flags, thats perfectly acceptable. I know its a big ask but in the perfect world the server wouldn't be full of players with bad habits, i just want to reduce the amount of players like that in our server.

sounds really nice, and please put songhua in the list so few servers having that map...especially if your going to put it up as IO. fhushe 16player and songhua 32player are the best IO maps where you can play PLA according to me <3 AK47 and Type88

Ok calm down princess, mum's gonna bring your dummy back, don't worry! Serious tho, fair point, but our clan played vehicles since game release and we do enjoy IO providing its not spammed into the ground. I'm just looking for suggestions, the likely outcome is that IO and Vehicles will be set on rotation, but we'll see how it goes.

Not bad idea, i do quite like FF on 100% with mines set to friendly damage, discourages snipers even more to lay down clays. I'm really not a fan of claymores at all, same with nades.

What is missing is a 48-64 player city maps server with vehicles.  Kark/Jala/Sharq/Mash.  Kick spawn campers in armor.  Spawn campers on foot are fair game.

Dalian plant is sex for that, not much air to ground but sex chopper/jet battles, two jets and two choppers each, EPIC win.

I'm well aware of the process of how BF2 servers run And why do you feel you will get banned?

Our server will be provided by Rackage, we are/were one of their oldest customers, like i said, i ran ranked servers for nearly two years. We've always had a great relationship with them and although some providers might be cheaper you just can't beat the service they offer.

On a side note, i'm also thinking it would be quite rude if we didn't run some SF maps, even if its only Warlord on a night during the week.

All i want is a happy player base and if people are going to use the server often it'd be nice to get some input, i'm all to familiar with the pathetic way some ranked servers are run, sometimes you can spend longer loading a map than the time you spend actually on the server.

Don't run any SF maps, from what I can tell, you are looking for a bunch of decent players to play BF2 the way its MENT to be played on your server and decent players don't play SF period. Play most of the good vanilla maps, fuck Karkand and Wake...

4 Rounds/Map so people get a good go of the map before change. You should also have a no ban without proof policy.

all i got to say is a good server
1) has responsible administrators
2) less lag
3) has good decent rules
4) no hackers at all

i can care less what the maps are, as long as i have a good time and i am not bashing my head on my desk because of retards, i think what i ask is not all that bad. A2G ( addicted to gamers) was a friendly server when i used to play Bf2. CBBF ( Code blue battlefield) is another.
