Let's all argue about how widescreen does/doesn't work in a game never designed to do it.
22" 1680x1050. FOV looks fine, it might be stretched but I can't fucking tell. M4 looks circular to me.
WEEEEEEE!

Acer 22' Widescreen playing at 1680x1050
But I miss my 17' CRT. Honestly, it was so much easier finding/shooting things on that thing, on this it feels like I have to move my head around to find people. I don't think I'll ever go any bigger than a 22', just a bit too much for when you're sitting directly in front of the thing IMO.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

17"
19" CRT at 800x600, same res I use for all fps games.
19" Crt @ 1024*768 3d
Just a question, why are those high resolutions so great for FPS's? I prefer 800*600, and sometimes use 1024*768... But I don't understand how some of you can play on those extremely large resolutions :s
What's the advantage?

Lolzor... the 17-19 inches is winning, whereas on another poll sometime ago people claimed they have widescreen lcds... weird
Samsung 223bw, 22" looks great
Maybe it's because we actually do? Mine is a 15.4" CRTMarkooo*Est wrote:

I haven't tried BF2 since I got my 8600GT so I don't know what resolution I would play it on.
