I've been waiting impatiently for this movie ever since I first saw the preview. Cage is definitely one of my favorite actors ever.

After seeing Ghost Rider, Wicker Man, Next, and maybe a few others that are even more forgettable, I have absolutely no desire to see any movie with Nicholas Cage in it.argo4 wrote:

Bah.. they all have a bad couple of movies. I'm thinking more of "The Rock", "Gone in sixty second", "FaceOff", "World Trade Center", "Lord of War" and "ConAir".sexecuti0ner wrote:

Thought this thread was going to be something terrorism related.
Cage either plays in a great movie, or terrible movie. Needs to learn to read scripts before signing up to play them.

I agree. Watch the Wicker Man. Better yet, just watch this trailer for it-TheAussieReaper wrote:

Yeah, back in the 90's he was the man. That whole genre with The Rock, ConAir, and FaceOff was great and he was great at it. But he just seems out of his element now.Kmarion wrote:

What I've heard from a lot of people is that Nicholas Cage acts the same way in every movie, and I agree with it... Supposedly that makes him a bad actor... But then again I dont watch his movies for the acting, more like the plots and action... like who cares if Nicholas Cage acts the same?
but tbh ill probably catch it on DVD

Those people never saw Raising Arizona or city of angels..lol. He has a very unique voice and speaking style. That's probably why his characters seem to blur together. You can't compare Memphis Raines (reserved wants to slow down) and Castor Troy (psychopathic). Two entirely different characters.GodFather wrote:

the two national treasure movies weren't too bad
silly, and maybe a bit stupid, but definitely not bad

Matchstick men didn't get a lot of attention. I actually thought it was pretty good.

Yeah I agree with you Kmarion, and yeah I liked Matchstick men, but that movie's ending made me sad... :\Kmarion wrote:
