Fucking rain all the time
It's really fucking hot (~95F) over here in Louisiana at times. Usually every other day we have rain showers. Don't know wtf is up with that.
little hotter than average here in Chicago.
Summer here is milder than usual. Two winters ago we didn't really have a winter, it stayed relatively warm almost the entire time. Shorts in December for me warm.
Global temps have been down the last ten years. Call it El nina offsetting the long term increase if you want. But that would not explain the last two years being any different than the previous 8. In Florida we have been getting our daily storms earlier.. like around noon instead of 5ish.CameronPoe wrote:

Xbone Stormsurgezz
It's been hot in Chicago, but it was so cold earlier this year that we are still below average
Thunderstorms seem to be happening every other day in this area, I wouldn't be surprised if there was another one at some point this afternoon.[TUF]Catbox wrote:
Around 90 degrees and humid here in the DC area... some thunderstorms occasionally... nice breeze today...
Exactly that, I'm fine to walk around in the middle of december in a t shirt when there's frost on the ground but in summer.... *melts into a puddle*Poseidon wrote:
I hate summer. I'm more warm blooded than most, so I don't take the heat well. And yet ironically, I tan quite easily and rarely burn. I prefer the bitter cold over the heat any day.
I dont know how bad the summers are because I have air conditioning.
Couple months of sunshine, then back to the "If it's not raining it's about to" weather for the rest of the year.
We've had a really mild and short summer. There was a hard frost in the middle of June, which was preceded by 50-60 degree weather. Tuesday was cloudy and 65. It felt like early October, not late July.
That is, of course, good.

That's quite interesting, because despite some really heavy rain today, summer up here has been alright as a whole. Some really nice days that make up for a week of rain. Some really decent temperatures, and it even snowed at Christmas! Global warming is just great to us.CameronPoe wrote:

clear skies, average in the 80s, some days 90s-100s, sunny, cool and warm breezes, pretty good summer.
For seeing another crap summer in Ireland I fled to California for the summer!
No lie half of Ireland is in Berkley!
