i saw this a long time ago on Meta Cafe. i was gonna try it but dont have the time.

I used that very video to try and make a smoke grenade about 3 months ago, but all i did was ruin a pan - the damn shit would not burn.

Granted I have no idea where to find potassium nitrate.  I couldn't find any of the recomended stump removers either.  I ended up using "stump out" from home depot, which I think was the problem
