It's not really a hard delema. All you have to do is shut down AIM before you enter the game. When I play I shutdown all the processes running that I don't need while playing BF2 with Ctl+Alt+Delete.

I don't think spawn killers realise how much they actually spoil the game for the ppl they are killing. Sure you could spawn to a different location, but that aint the point. You should be able to spawn where you want without some APC/Tank whore on your ass.

if you seriously belive this then write to DICE/EA - they made the game what it is, making it a part of the game that you can be killed where you spawn. If they seriously didn't intend for that to be a factor, then they would have implemented a system like that in Day of Defeat where you can't really be attacked where you spawn (well, you can, but it's really hard to do and takes determined teamwork to do so - but the structure of the game makes this activity pointless, whereas in BF2 you still get points for it etc).
So no, you're wrong - with BF2 being what it is, you should be able to do no such thing. If you don't like it, write to them and hope they change the spawning system in the next game they release in the franchise.

My advice is just spawn somewhere else unless they have all the positions and get ready to run fast when you spawn. That has always worked for me so far anyway.
