According to German media reports, the last 75 examples of the SLR will be lightweight speedster versions of the car. The limited edition car will have no roof and only a small wind screen in place of the car’s windshield.

The further deletion of air conditioning system and power windows plus the use of composite materials in the body panels will shave about 440 pounds off the SLR’s curb weight. The result is a car that can accelerate from 0-186 mph in just 26 seconds, on its way to a top speed of about 217 mph.

The limited edition SLR will retail from about 450,000 euros.

I was never really a fan of the SLR. Not so much now, but when it came out, the enzo was fairly recent and the carrera GT, and to my mind atleast it was always third in that trio :\

Here is the beast herself:

Sound is like no other. 700hp V12 Biturbo.
I think it's pretty good looking and doesn't look like the bat mobile they call the SLR. And it has that cool spoiler that lifts up. The only bad part are the ugly wheels.
