Is there anyway to stream the audio from a computer to another computer on the network without the need for additional hardware?

You can also just turn on network sharing and share the folder you music is in with out any specially programs...

OR you can use WMP 10 or up to share you music library (WMP does not need to keep running for it to be shared)
Right click library and choose share.

Sorry, I don't think I was clear, I meant in real-time as in if there's a video playing on my PC I'd like to be able to watch it on my laptop with sound or play a game on my PC through my laptop on the network using remote desktop software... After reading that back it sounds a bit stupid but it would be interesting to find out if it is possible?
