Do you really think he did what he did just thinking of America? He did it to get richer, and he, Cheney and Rumsfeld are cruel, cheating and unlawful guys. Anyone thinking otherwise is a naive folk, sorry. He isn't that dumb as you try to portray and depict him. He may be a terrible and hilarious speaker, but he is not dumb at all. Besides, you are naming a few presidents, so if those were even worse than him, that doesn't mean he isn't one of the worst in history.Jenspm wrote:

nope, sorry. you are way off.
Bush is by all means not a great president. He's not good at running the country, but he did what he thought was good and right. Just unlucky that he was a terrible speaker and that his advisers fail.
Guys like Nixon, Andrew Johnson, Buchanan, Pierce, and more cheated (Nixon), supressed African Americans and Indians and stole from the government.

- How would the assassination of President Obama affect the US?
This evaluation lacks historical context.. srsly. Some of our greatest presidents weren't exactly admired in their time..lol.sergeriver wrote:

You guys know a lot more about US history than me, I'm not arguing that. But, when you have the Iraq war parody, and Halliburton and Blackwater getting all the contracts over there, there's no need for historical context. He won't be considered a great president, not in a century.Kmarion wrote:

Okay, serge, find me another US company that specializes in troop life support in war zones. Or providing civilian infrastructure support in war torn regions. The US has been giving parts of Halliburton no bid contracts since at least as far back as 1996. This is the hugest non-issue to come around, and I am amazed how many people will not let it go.sergeriver wrote:

Yes, Cheney has stock in them. Cheney was the Secretary of Defense, and saw how much the military used the company, so he bought stock in it when he became a private citizen. He did not know he was going to become VP back then (or did he? New conspiracy theory!!!) Then, a war kicks off, and the VP has stock in the only company with the skills and size that the military needs. Yup, definately something shady there!!!!

Questions:
1-Would you be surprised if President Obama was killed?
2-What are the odds of President Obama being assassinated?
3-Would President Obama's assassination benefit anyone?
4-How would President Obama's assassination affect the US?
2.Not that high
3.Yep... either the Republicans from the Democrats losing one of their most charismatic leaders or the Democrats by having the sympathy vote for a good while
4.That depends on who is taking Obama's place. Without yet knowing who his running mate is, it's hard to say.
Yup, just a coincidence. If I'm not wrong Cheney was CEO of Halliburton, so he's not just a share holder. It smells corruption everywhere, but politicians are mostly corrupt so why not Cheney.imortal wrote:
